Your host, Richard de Fontaine, started
Scallywags Tearoom in 1994 to
introduce fine English food mixed with his own creative cooking. In 2002 he opened Scallywags The Restaurant, and introduced his own stlye of fusion cooking, what he grew up with when he lived abroad as child.
In 2007 the Tearoom was sold and in 2010 Richard opened Tea- & Lunchroom Kensington on the Kettingstraat, near the Passage.
He can now be found at Kensington during the day and at night at Scallywags The Restaurant. Welcome, and you will notice that Diana is always present! |
